Anyssa Francis, President

Anyssa Francis is a 12th grade high school student at Ransom Everglades School. She had the vision to create this organization after a mission trip to the poor nation of Haiti. Anyssa is Haitian American, growing up with two parents born in Haiti. Born and raised in Miami, Florida, Anyssa was not fully conscious of the extreme poverty the nation was facing. Upon return from seeing this poverty, Anyssa decided it was time to make a change immediately. Anyssa is Vice-President of a human rights club at her school and feels the rights all people are endowed to are not fully present in Haiti. She started this organization in hopes of lessening the poverty in Haiti, while also making a sustainable change.

Veronica Pedraza, Vice-President

Veronica Pedraza is a 12th grade student at Ransom Everglades School. After her peer and friend, Anyssa, came up with the idea for this organization, she excitedly wanted to be a part of it. Her background as a member and ambassador of Best Buddies make her more than qualified to be Vice President of this organization.
